LOCK jAW              DOG tREATS

Lock Jaw is a fictional brand fully conceptualized by me. When I got the task of developing a dog treat brand, I wanted to tap into a genre of dog treat brands that has been neglected in recent years: dog treats designed for hunting dogs. I loved getting engulfed in this mood, establishing a more masculine, serious voice for dog treats.

From what started out as product packaging, it was then flushed out into Instagram, Google display ads, a fully functioning, auto-layout website, and even gif animation. To establish my masculine, serious tone for my dog treats, I relied heavy and the facial characteristics of my target genre of dogs, primarily pitbull, rottweiler, and hound types for packaging elements and branding. As well as incorporating of grungy textures, illustrations, and even typefaces. Sticking to a black, white and red also greatly influenced my brand voice.
